Summer Immersion Fun

We are the Student Directors at the newest school to join First 2 Network, Blue Ridge Community and Technical College. We just want to take a few moments to share how our first Summer Immersion Program went!
For our research project, we partnered with a local manufacturer, Rockwool. During this time we assisted students with collecting, analyzing, and presenting data from the ‘cold-end’ process to company executives. The company hopes to utilize this information to improve efficiency.
During our two weeks together we had a lot of fun. One of our fun activities that all of of our participants raved about was a VR Escape Room Experience. I have included a photo of us and our participants at the escape room.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience and cannot wait to find ways to get more students involved.
