The Eberly College of Arts and Sciences Research Office with the support of the WVU Provost is hosting the 1st annual research showcase and University/Department open-house on May 18-19, 2020. The symposium invites sophomores and juniors (rising juniors and seniors as of May-June 2020) conducting research in chemistry and allied fields to apply for the symposium. If selected, the symposium participant will have an opportunity to present research posters, connect with fellow student from Appalachia and beyond, meet our faculty and graduate students, and tour our research facilities. Application review will begin on January 31st, 2020 and continue until spots are filled.
Faculty recruiting and research seminars. The Department of Chemistry supports faculty travel costs arising from visits to regional colleges and universities to present research and discuss academic and research opportunities with faculty and students.
