First2 Scholars Angelina Duriez and Sydney Kudlack presented their RAP projects at the WVU Fall 2023 symposium. Angelina Duriez’s project was titled “The Characterization of SCFD1 in Autophagosome-Lysosome Fusion”. Sydney Kudlack’s project was titled “Disruption of the Microbiota Impacts Courtship Behavior in Tsetse Flies”. (photos have been submitted)

First2 Director Ray King was selected as one of WVU’s four nominees for the prestigious Goldwater scholarship.
