Upcoming research activities

I will have the opportunity to present at the Association of Southeastern Biologists conference in late March along with another student in my research mentor’s lab. Our poster will discuss our respective projects in digitization and transcription in Marshall University’s herbarium.

I was also recently accepted to a summer REU! The research topic is interdisciplinary evolutionary sciences, and it will be held at the University of Iowa.

I am very excited and grateful to the First2 Network and NSF for helping to make opportunities like these available to me!
