Join First2 Network for “Thriving Through Change: Maximizing Our Impact and Shaping Our Future,” a two-day virtual conference focused on collaboration, learning, and innovation across our region. Together, we’ll explore new ideas, share successes, and strengthen our collective impact as we continue to support rural, first-generation, and low-income STEM students across West Virginia, Kentucky, and beyond.
Our agenda for Friday includes an optional ‘New to First2’ session, round-robin presentations sharing updates and learnings from our higher education partners, insights about successful campus mentoring models, and an interactive workshop and discussion focused on industry vs. student/faculty perceptions about student workforce readiness.
Our agenda for Saturday includes further round-robin presentations sharing updates and learnings from our higher education partners, a session facilitated by our First2 Student Directors, and a data presentation about our partner campuses’ STEM students and their self-reported self-efficacy, belonging, science identity, career identity, and probability to graduate.

In addition to our current network members, anyone interested in improvement science, systems change work, student leadership, and STEM education and workforce outcomes are invited to attend. There is no fee to register.
