First2’s Rebecca Rutherford Wins at WVU’s Poster Symposium

Rebecca Rutherford presented the results of her 10-weeks of research on Zirconium Compounds as Earth-Abundant Alternatives for Precious Metal Photosensitizers  – carried out under the direction of WVU faculty member Carsten Milsmann. Rebecca participated in WVU's 2019 Chemistry Research Experiences for Undergraduates and presented her research at the culminating Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium with 116 other poster presenters. Out of 19 posters in the Physical Sciences category, Rebecca's was the winning poster presentation.
