Campus Updates 11/3/2023

Blue Ridge CTC- We are having an institutional meeting today, with plans to host a game day prior to finals week to give students a break before finals.

Fairmont State- We are planning to have a Friendsgiving at our next Club Meeting. Our scholars are continuing to work on their Change ideas. We are also looking forward to our Onboarding meeting next week!

Marshall- We had our First2 onsite visit 11/1. We had many faculty and students able to participate. Marshall’s dinner with the deans is next week.

University of Charleston- This past week we had our in person on boarding. Over the weekend our student directors represented the First2 Network at the High Rocks Staff and Board retreat. This coming week we will be celebrating first gen day by doing a collective art piece.

WVU: We just recently transitioned into the new roles for the upcoming Spring Semester. They start their new/returning roles at our Nov 6th meeting!

WVU Tech: We held our first presentation as part of our Exploring Campus Resources PDSA with Diana Woods of the WVU Tech Launch Lab. We are continuing to work on our Exploring Campus Resources PDSA, as well as a BINGO PDSA. Everyone is excited for First-Gen Week, and we are preparing for next semester.
