Campus Club Updates from November 11, 2022

Blue Ridge CTC- We have been working on our Lunch with Faculty PDSA and received approval to move forward! After some polling we have settled on a date of December 15th for this event. Our next club meeting is scheduled for this coming Monday as well. We are also on the cusp of finals and have been dealing with all the fun that entails (woo!).

Fairmont- We had our final meeting at Cracker Barrel and were very happy with the turn out! We have finals (NEXT WEEK- EWW) to study for so all of us are trying to make sure our scholars are going to tutoring and have everything they need to succeed!

Marshall- This Saturday we will be tabeling for Green and White day to hopefully recruit incoming freshmen into First2 and summer immersion experience. Next Tuesday we are having our PDSA Networking with Marshall Faculty Dinner which Dean Morgan has officially told us the College of Science could cover the cost of the entire dinner.

University of Charleston- We did not meet this week, we plan to meet next week before Thanksgiving break. We will be meeting with Samantha on Wednesday next week.

WVU- We have already completed our item list for our final packages, and we’re preparing to have them ordered. We are looking forward to getting everyone a book and starting our first book club meeting on November 28th.

WVU Tech- We celebrated First Gen week with Trio on our campus. We are planning to do an escape room on November 28th for our outing and to celebrate 2 members’ birthdays. We are thinking about doing a Toy Drive on our campus for the holidays. We are still working out the details.
