Campus Updates through 4/5/24

Blue Ridge CTC – Held VR Escape room event on March 29th, had 5 people. Hosting a game night Apr 12th. Possible Field trip to D.C Apr 20th. Unsure of status as of current though.
Fairmont State- Had a joint institutional team meeting and club meeting. Still prepping for Maroon and White Day. A group of students are attending WVAS on 4/6 at Glenville State University.
Glenville: We just finished our PDSA for Faculty and Student interactions, and we are planning on doing a “bake sale” to bring more awareness to First2. We are also planning on hosting another Final study session that was a big hit last time!
University of Charleston- We are in the process of doing our Impromptu Lecture PDSA again. The club met and made the slides on Tuesday.
WVU – We have three club meetings left this semester. One will be a graduation party and one will be a study session with STEM professors. Our Tier 2 scholars are holding a Donuts with the Deans event this upcoming week for a PDSA.
WVU Tech – We have 2 end of the year activities coming up: STEM Bingo and Campus Cookout.
Shepherd- We started administering surveys to students and staff to help create a plan for our new STEM student success center. We also began planning for an upcoming finals prep seminar.
