Campus Updates for week ending 2/23/2024

Blue Ridge CTC – 2nd Club meeting scheduled for the 28th, planning a dinner with the faculty mid next month, current goals are to bolster club attendance. Looking into logistics for a trip to the smithsonian.

Fairmont State- We held our second meeting of the semester. Looking into possibly doing a trip for the club.

Glenville: We are hosting our midterm study session today, as well as Monday. We also had our meeting discussing our Student-Faculty potluck for the end of March for our PDSA!

Marshall- We had our bi-weekly club meeting, and we are planning for a guest speaker to talk to students March 12th.

University of Charleston- students held a leadership training club. Our Dean and a professor also came to see what students were learning! Everyone seemed to have a good time and we held a good discussion!

WVU – We held a study meeting this past week.

WVU Tech Multiple students (Fayth Laxton, Josiah Baker, & Neveah Wooding) presented their own research projects at Undergraduate Research Day at the Capitol this past Thursday. Additionally, club members participated in ax throwing with faculty members as part of a group bonding experience. We are moving forward with our current PDSA.
