Campus Updates for week ending 2/9/24

Blue Ridge CTC – First club meeting will be 2/16, and we are hosting a Dune movie viewing tonight with some RSVP’s. We will have a 2nd meeting this month 2/28, with plans to bring in a guest speaker for an event next month.

Fairmont State- We held our first club meeting of the Semester on Tuesday where we got to introduce our new scholar to some parts of the Network. We also had a scholar bring in a representative from the LEAD Center as part of our Change Liaison PDSA.

Glenville: We had our first club meeting, and today we are having another institutional team meeting. We have been working on our student-professor PDSA, as well as creating an event that will be coming up soon for Valentines Day!

Marshall – We had a campus club meeting this week with an ambassador program workshop to practice and help prepare all ambassador projects. We also have the Donuts with the Deans PDSA ready to start!

University of Charleston- Students came together for a plant party club this week. Students had fun getting together and decorating pots and then planting different plants. Student Directors are working on new PDSA’s.

WVU – We held our computer skills workshop on Wednesday. Next week, we plan to have a valentines day volunteering information event.

WVU Tech We are participating in our campus’s Homecoming activities this week, and starting a new PDSA soon.
