Campus Updates from 10/20/23

Blue Ridge CTC – Held institutional team meetings today.

Fairmont State- The First2 Campus Club and the Forensics Club had a Halloween Potluck. Both Student Directors and a Scholar are preparing to attend the WVSTA conference this week (26th-28th).

Glenville We plan to hold another campus meeting this Friday to finish our bylaws and finish the paperwork to become a campus group to start hosting events on campus.

Marshall – We are planning our Faculty Networking Dinner in November and group building activity visiting the Pumpkin House.

University of Charleston- This week we had our Professor Impromptu Lecture PDSA event

WVU: WVU is going to Pittsburgh Zoo tomorrow. We’ll have lots of pictures and hopefully everyone has a fun time! Career Services will also be coming Monday to talk to our scholars about professional development.

WVU Tech – We are hosting the first presentation for our “Exploring Campus Resources” PDSA on Thursday 10/26 with Diana Woods of the WVU Tech Launch Lab. Also, some WVU Tech First2 club members went to the “Maniac Mine” haunted coal mine last Saturday. Lastly, we will be taking part in the WVU Tech Trunk or Treat this Friday from 6-8 PM. We will turn Kaleb’s truck into the Mystery Machine from Scooby-Doo!
