Student Director Updates

Blue Ridge CTC – Still haven’t had first institutional meeting. Next club meeting will be this Wednesday, we’ll discuss the date for our PDSA outing during this meeting. Will probably create flyers or an announcement for people outside of the club too.

Fairmont State- We are continuing to work on our accessibility change work. We also are looking into planning a club trip soon! This month we are also hosting another club fun night, which will be a Halloween party/ movie marathon!

Glenville: We are still working on getting our club up and running. Just placed flyers and sent them our to professors to spread the word about the club. The plan is to have a meeting with people who are interested in the club this week.

Marshall- We made preparations for our club members to all meet up at the Pumpkin Festival in Milton. We had a speaker visit us to speak to the First2 members on campus about med school (the speaker is a med student).

University of Charleston- Last week we prepared slides for our surprise lecture club that is coming up next week. Students had a lot of fun coming up with funny topics to have our professors present. This week our two student directors will be headed to morgantown for the student director training.

WVU- We are continuing having biweekly work meetings and biweekly study meetings (we switch every other week). Our campus work meeting should be having officer elections coming up soon.

WVU Tech – We had out Fall break last week, so we didn’t have our weekly club meeting. We are working on decoration ideas for our participation in the WVU Tech Trunk or Treat. Also, we will have a meeting to get more WVU Tech faculty involved with First2 on 10/19.
