Fairmont State University Awarded $749,693 NSF S-STEM Grant to Support Low-Income STEM Majors

So proud of Fairmont State colleagues Bob Niichel, Jojo Joseph and Abby Chapman who were the PI’s on this newly awarded S-STEM grant proposal, entitled “Bridging the STEM Gap in Appalachia: Engaging with students to iteratively improve faculty practices in support of student success.” As you can see from the title, First2 Network’s improvement science and student agency work had a lot of influence on the proposal and we are looking forward to working together to improve STEM student success!
